Lake Luzerne Inn

The Lake Luzerne Inn stood near the road on Lake Avenue and was on Lake Luzerne. It also had two cottages from the Wayside Inn on the other side of the road. In one of the cottages Mayor of New York City Jimmy Walker stayed. The Inn had been the ministers cottage of the Estate of Mrs. Lily Price. When it was made an Inn it had an addition added. It was a popular hotel owned by Mr. and Mrs. Tigoni and the last owners were Mr. & Mrs. Otto Cimler and Mr. & Mrs. Louis Martin. It was bought in the 1950's by Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Brunetti of Carlstad, and demolished. On the land they built the Lake Luzerne Motel and a beautiful home on the Lake for themselves.
